1878-8TF Morgan Dollar VAM-6 ICG MS-64, looks PL.   Attractive rose and blue color toning, both sides.  Although not stated on the holder, this example shows definite Prooflike fields on both sides.   The VAM-6 refers to a Doubled Motto.  NOTE:  A VAM number is the designation of a specific variety of Morgan/Peace Dollar, as identified by the authors Leroy VanAllen and George Mallis.  There are about 2,000 varieties documented, and many of those varieties add value to the basic date of the coin, due to additional rarity and desirability.  Top-100 refers to being one of the 100 most valuable VAMs;  Hot-50 refers to the next 50 most valuable VAMs, of the total number available.  This VAM coin will be accompanied by corresponding documentation and identification.  NOTE:  Any 8TF example is rare and desirable in any grade, since it was the very first design by the Mint, and had low production.  The design was changed to 7TF early in 1878.
