TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In order to participate in USAuctionOnline.com, you must be a registered user. As a registered user of U.S. Auction Online you legally accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as described below. These terms may be updated occasionally without prior notice. Registration is free of charge.
REGISTRATION
To register you must be at least 18 years old. In order to view the current bids, you must fill out part 1 of the registration, which is simply your name and email address. In order to bid in the auction, you will need to go to your account, and edit your profile to include phone number, billing, and shipping address. Each user agrees to provide current, complete, and accurate contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email address. User agrees to update this information upon change. All P.O. Box billing addresses must include a shipping address with a physical street address. U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to validate these accounts via email and/or telephone. If contact information is incomplete, false, or inaccurate, U.S. Auction Online may withdraw bids, suspend or terminate the account. If the billing and shipping addresses differ, users are subject to deposit requests and a credit card authorization form before being able to participate in the auction. Providing false or fraudulent information is a violation of these Terms and Conditions and could subject a user to criminal or civil liability. U.S. Auction Online is a private entity and reserves the right to deny access at its sole discretion for any reason whatsoever. By checking the box in the registration that you accept the terms and agreement, you are accepting a legal contract between you and U.S. Auction Online. Your bid is also your agreement. NOTE: This site is open to U.S. and Canadian residents only with valid U.S. or Canadian shipping addresses.
MERCHANDISE
All items are sold on a strictly “as is” basis. Purchaser hereby assumes all risks related to the grading, quality, description, condition, authenticity, and provenance of a lot. We strongly suggest that bidders do their own due diligence prior to placing any bids. All photos are of the actual items unless otherwise stated. Exact weights, sizes, measurements, quality, and estimated auction value are not guaranteed. Certificates of authenticity, appraisals, and other documentation provided are the professional opinions of a third party and as such we do not guarantee their validity. Art items are guaranteed as to artist, signature, and medium.
BIDDING
All items listed are closed for bidding at a specific time stated on the item's page. U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to place a fully refundable deposit on any account. For certain items, the Seller may impose a reserve price, which may remain confidential until the winning bid is confirmed. U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to bid on its own behalf or on behalf of the consignor up to the reserve amount on any item. If there are no bids above the minimum bid or reserve price (whichever is higher), then the Seller is not obligated to sell the item. After bidding closes on each item, U.S. Auction Online will send a confirmation email to the winning bidder. The registered user will also be able to access his winning bids by logging onto the site and clicking the “My Account” tab.
U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to change bid increments at any time.
FRAUDULENT BIDDING
Bidding on any item in U.S. Auction Online without the intent to pay all charges associated with the item is considered fraudulent. This type of bidding is not allowed and is considered to be in violation of terms of U.S. Auction Online and will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
GUARANTEE AND RETURN POLICY
Estimated values listed on auction items are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed due to factors including, but not limited to, market fluctuations and subjectivity in quality grading. Market values are determined by the bidding process. US Auction Online does not guarantee coin grades, as numismatic grading is a complex and subjective process that may involve the interpretation and opinions of experts. A limited guarantee is offered with regards to all hand signatures, stones and metals, and watch makes (though aftermarket parts may be present in any watch unless otherwise noted). All items are otherwise guaranteed as described. We aim to provide accurate descriptions, however, should gross discrepancies between the item and its description arise, we will gladly accept returns for a full refund. If an item is accurately described but you remain dissatisfied, we accept most returns with deductions for shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee. Requests for returns and refunds must be received within 30 days of receiving your item. Visit our FAQ page for more information about returns.
SETTLEMENT
Settlement must be made within 2 business days of the auction closing. Payments may be remitted via the account section of www.usauctiononline.com. Secure payment can be made from this page using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal. Winning bidders may also elect to contact customer support to pay via telephone or request wire instructions. The winning bidder is responsible for paying the invoice in full, including the final bid amount, plus buyer’s premium, shipping and handling fee, and any applicable taxes. Any invoices not paid within two days of the auction closing will be considered past due. U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to submit said past due accounts to collections or re-offer the items for sale. Any partially paid invoices may not ship within the 10 business day window.
SHIPMENT
Once full payment is received, U.S. Auction Online will ship the item(s) to the shipping address indicated during the registration process. ALL PO BOXES need a street address. If user would like to have the items shipped to a different address, further written documentation will be required. Most items will be shipped within 10 business days of payment, unless otherwise noted. Larger merchandise may take longer than usual. Shipping and handling costs are noted in the description of each item. This fee includes shipping, handling, materials, labor and insurance coverage. Shipping fees to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are double the original fee. It is the winning bidder's responsibility to enter the correct shipping address. Should an item be returned due to incorrect entry of shipping address, the winning bidder is responsible for contacting us with the correct shipping address as well as paying any additional fees required to re-send. We are not a storage facility and cannot hold items longer than 30 days.
PRIVACY
All information collected by U.S. Auction Online is private and will not be disseminated or sold to any third party. Per our SSL certification provided by Norton, we do not collect or keep credit card information on file.
GENERAL
U.S. Auction Online reserves the right to withdraw property from the sale for any reason and with no liability whatsoever. If the item is withdrawn after payment has been received, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued to the bidder.
U.S. AUCTION ONLINE, NOR ITS AFFILIATES, SHALL BE LIABLE REGARDLESS OF CAUSE OR DURATION, FOR ANY ERRORS OR INACCURACIES POSTED ON THIS SITE. NOR SHALL IT BE LIABLE FOR INABILITY TO USE THIS SITE. NONE OF THE FOREGOING PARTIES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY THIRD PARTY CLAIMS OR LOSSES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS OR DAMAGES.
U.S. AUCTION ONLINE IS ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY APPLIES TO ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY CAUSED BY ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, INTERRUPTION, ERROR, OMISSION, DELETION, DELAY IN TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS.
IN NO EVENT WILL U.S. AUCTION ONLINE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE U.S. AUCTION ONLINE WEBSITE. SUBSCRIBER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL CONTENT ON THE U.S. AUCTION ONLINE WEBSITE.
